Covid -19 Multi Ethnic Food Response Programme 2021

As we approach the opening of the government’s proposed ‘road map out of lock-down’, we are aware that there are many in our communities who are struggling to make ends meet.
The trustees of the Leeds African Communities Trust (LAC) are pleased to announce the launch of the 2nd Covid-19 Multi Ethnic Food Response Programme in Little London. Thanks to our Patrons – Councillor Abigail Marshall Katung and the rest of the Ward Councillors for their generous funding support that is helping us to deliver this much needed service.
The LAC Food Hub will be opened at the Little London Community Centre on Friday 19th March 2021 – Friday 2 July 2021, from 2pm to 4pm every Friday.
If you are a community leader and aware of anyone who cannot come to the centre in person to collect due to health difficulties, disability or old age please contact the centre manager Sylvia Whyke on 07985608692 who can advise you about the nearest hub from where they can collect foods or have it delivered.
